Lu Jianzhi (陆柬之, 585 - 638) was a calligrapher and scholar-official of the early Tang Dynasty. He was from today’s Suzhou in Jiangsu Province.

Lu Jianzhi was a nephew of Yu Shinan (虞世南), from whom he first learned calligraphy. Later he also studied the works of Ouyang Xun (欧阳询) of the Tang Dynasty, as well as those of Wang Xizhi (王羲之) and Wang Xianzhi (王献之) of the Jin Dynasty. Very few of Lu’s calligraphy works remain today.
